I met Juanita when she was modelling for Metro Vancouver Photography Workshops. In fact, she still graces the header image on the Bailward Photography Facebook page! She is an awesome model, and when she messaged me to ask to shoot her at a glowing seven months, I jumped at the chance to shoot her and her husband Richard.

I wanted to have a bit of a behind the scenes shot for my readers who are photographers, but honestly, there’s no fancy light setup, gear, or tripods. The day was bright but overcast, turning the whole sky into a huge soft box, throwing gorgeous light through their window, giving us gorgeous light to work with. Honestly I like this “behind the scenes” shot as much as any of the other photos, but it lets you see what I was working with, and just how easy it is.
