Seattle Road Trip

Seattle Road Trip

… from last year anyway.  June of 2013 I headed down to Seattle for a day of photography and hanging out with my good buddy Jim.  We had good coffee, a great lunch, and hung out and took a lot of pictures.

Started out taking pictures of cars on the highway from an overpass.  I wish I was joking about how many I took.  Of cars.  On a strip of grey concrete.  Ugh, photographers huh?  I know now why I drive my wife crazy!

And then we went down to the shore and looked at the city across the bay.

Jim is a secret agent and doesn’t want his identity revealed, but I got a quick shot of him when the invisibility cloak wasn’t turned on.

Then we headed down to the docks.

There was a beautiful Virginia V that was being restored and worked on.  Really gorgeous.  We wandered through it for about a half hour looking at the beautiful old craftsmanship and admiring what they were doing on it.

Of course, there were lots of great looking boats at the marina, including the great old sailboat.

Other than the driving being very tiring, and more often than not leaving far too late to come home, and getting really tired by the time I reach the border, trips down to visit Jim are always a great time, can’t wait to get back down.
