Recently I did event photography for my friend Azam who did a fundraiser to allow her to bring clothing to underprivileged children in Tanzania through the NEEMA Project. Azam is a student and heard about NEEMA and knew she could do something to help. She decided to do a clothing drive to collect clothing for infants and children and will be going to Tanzania to deliver the clothes herself (and make a few memories of course)!
Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA) is an amazing group of volunteers that dedicates itself to being both emotional and physical support to victims of abuse. Their goal is “…to empower children to not feel afraid of the world in which they live.” This Sunday they had a ride out from Chilliwack to Hope to raise money and awareness about the group and what they do.
Maybe you’ve heard of a HOG Rally, but if you’re not an owner of a Harley-Davidson, you might be wondering what exactly it is. HOG stands for Harley Owners Group and is an organized gathering and ride by a group of Harley-Davidson owners. Stan Nickel — Harley ride coordinator — describes it as Harley-Davidson wanting to ensure a continuing relationship with their clients.
